Setup is Simple
Simply fluff, let breathe, and you are ready for sleep
Components are compressed for shipping. Once decompressed, fluff the body pillow and insert pillow vigorously and to help regain their shape. MedCline can be slept on immediately but can take 72+ hours for any residual "new memory foam" smells to dissipate.
Allow for break-in time
Foam typically takes about 30 nights to break in and meld to your body. Keep an eye out for helpful videos that we will send via email after your new system arrives. Also, feel free to contact our team of Sleep Specialists if you have any questions during your adjustment period.

My GERD medication is not working well enough. Should I try the MedCline Acid Reflux Relief System?

Can the MedCline Acid Reflux Relief System help?
Many GERD sufferers have tried unsuccessfully to stack pillows at night in an attempt to elevate their torsos for reflux relief. Not only do pillows shift around during the night, causing many annoying “rebuilds”, pillow stacking does not elevate your torso significantly enough to find relief. I purchased the MedCline system to mainly treat GERD but also because I had a left frozen shoulder last year and could tell the same was happening on my right. For a few years I've just stacked pillows to get some incline for the GERD. I initially had problems with sliding down the MedCline pillow but fantastic customer service resolved that problem by sending a smaller version. It is a much more comfortable solution than stacked pillows or my short lived try of just a wedge pillow. Both shoulders are more comfortable having the atea for my elbows to slip into. So far I use my own pillows rather than the J-body pillow. I tried it once but it was too plush and I need to make it less so. Holidays and adjusting to a new sleep apnea machine has put that onto the back burner.
I'm taking it one step at a time. Overall Iwould say I sleep better and I'm certainly glad for this sensible design and great custo.er seevice.

It took awhile and two visits to my pcm at the VA, but the wait was absolutely worth it! I was supposed to get this for severe shoulder nerve pain from an injury, and the VA ordered me the acid reflux version, which is ALSO very effective for my shoulder issues and as an added bonus, I have not had any acid reflux (I have had mild issues with this in the past) issues since using this system, and my shoulder issue has significantly improved as has my sleep. This pillow has been a game-changer and has been a real blessing with greatly-improved sleep. This system ABSOLUTELY works and has enhanced my quality of life by way of improving my sleep. It is comfortable and actually works! Finally the additional pillows come in multiple color options (white is a recipe for stains in my house). My toddler son loves to snuggle up with me with this pillow system, and sometimes outright TAKES the pillow from me and uses it himself-we co-sleep and sometimes he will fight me for this pillow if I get up, he will slide over and use it. Safe to say we all love this pillow system and have joked about having to get one for my son too.
